Alena Čechová

Alena Čechová studied violin at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, then with Nora Grumlíková at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, with Ivan Ženatý at Hochschule für Musik „C. M. von Weber“ in Dresden, and with. doc. J. Kopelman at the University of Musical Arts in Bratislava. She awarded prestigious prizes at international competitions in Czechia and abroad, she is a Laureate of the European Music Awards held in Luxembourg. She gave many successful solo concerts as well as camber concerts with her brother Peter, at the prestigious music festivals in Europe and Canada, also. Besides that she is also a pedagogue.
