Alžběta Vlčková

Alžběta Vlčková graduated on the Prague Conservatory with J. Páleníček and then she continued her studies at the Academy of Arts with M. Petráš. In 1992 she was finalist of the International Cello Competition Beethoven's Hradec. She was awarded by 2^nd prize on the International Competition of Bohuslav Martinů in Semmering (Austria). She absolved Master Courses with A. May, Z. Nels, St. Apolín, T. Kühne and she studied with R. Pidoux at the Conservatory of Paris. Instead her solo performances, she also takes part on chamber music, she is member of the Piano Trio ArteMiss. She teaches on the New York University at Prague.
