Dana Burešová

Dana Burešová was the pupil of prof. Brigita Šulcová at the Prague Conservatory. During her studies she became a soloist at the opera theatre in České Budějovice and since 1992 she is a soloist of the National Theatre in Prague. She sang great roles not only in Prague, but in Baltimore (U.S.A), Las Palmas (Spain), and in Japan, and she sang also with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in London. Besides her opera activities she had concerts as a member of the Musica Antiqua Praga in many European countries as Germany, Denmark, France or Austria; she sang also at the Prague Spring Festival. In 2008 she was awarded with Thalia prize.
