František Svejkovský

František Svejkovský studied at Prague Conservatory and at the University of J. A. Komenský. During his studies, he successfully took part in two Czech conservatory trumpet competitions (2^nd and 1^st price). As soloist he prefers baroque music, but it's not only music he plays as we can see on his CD's with jazz, dance, musical and film music. He also plays origin baroque trumpet, clarina. He is member of some chamber, theatre, dance and symphonic orchestras and ensembles. He is solo trumpeter and conductor of The Band of the Castle Guards.
