Jan Zvěřina
Jan Zvěřina studied at the Conservatory of Brno with Miroslav Zicha; then he continued at the Prague Conservatory, where he won competition to have opportunity to have his final concert accompanied by the Orchestra of the Prague Conservatory. In 2014 he graduated at the Academy of Musical Arts in Prague with Miroslav Petráš and he finished his studies at the prestigious Universität der Künste in Berlin with Wolfgang Boettcher. As soloist or chamber player he performs in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Japan, etc. He performs not only as chamber player, but also with orchestra e.g. his performance with Orchestre de chambre Camerata Bohémiana at the Puisaye-Forterre festival. He was awarded on Heran International Cello Competition, Competition of Conservatories (Teplice), international competition Beethoven's Hradec etc. Between 2008 and 2015, he played with Doležal's Quartett, he is founding member of Páleníček Trio (finalists of Premio Antonio Bertolini competition in Milan) and also founding member of the Prague Cello Quartett, which is leading multi-genre ensemble in the Czech Republic.
