Jan Šprta

Jan Šprta studied Organ music in a conservatory in Brno between the years 2004 and 2010. Since 2010 he is studying at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of organs players lead by Pier Damiano Peretti. He also completed master courses of the most renowned organ players such as Jean Guillou and Zsigmond Szathmáry. Šprta plays music of all epochs. He was awarded on many international competitions (the International competition for young organists in Opava (CZ) in 2006, the Organ competition of old music in Humpolec (CZ) in 2007, “Daniel Herz” Orgelwettbewerb in Brixen in 2012).
