Jana Sibera

Jana Sibera has graduated from the Prague Conservatory and from the Faculty of Music of the Prague Academy of Performing Arts. She has been perfecting her singing for several years already under the tutelage of the soprano Marie Haan. In 2002 she was engaged by the Prague State Opera House, where she has been given the opportunity to perform many roles of her voice line – e.g. Gilda (Rigoletto), Oscar (Un ballo in maschera), Frasquita (Carmen), Despina (Così fan tutte), Papagena and the Queen of the Night (the Magic Flute), the First Dryad (Rusalka), Priestess (Aida), Zerline (Don Giovanni), Cunegonde (Candide). In June 2008 Ms. Sibera became finalist of the Barbara Hendricks International Song Contest in Strassbourg.
