Jarmila Kosinová

Jarmila Kosinová graduated from Prague Academy of Musical Arts, where she has studied with doc. L. Márová. In 2009 she successfully took part at the International Singing Competition of A. Dvořák in Karlovy Vary, in 2010 she awarded 2nd prize at the same competition. In her repertoire there are not only numerous operatic roles, but songs and oratorios, too. Very often she interprets the 20th century music, also. As a soloist she has given concerts with Chamber Philharmony Pardubice, Philharmony Hradec Králové, Orchestra Quattro, Orchestra Europera etc. Most often she gives concerts together with her sister, Daniela Valtová Kosinová, not only in Europe, but also in Namibia. In 2007 she appeared at Prague Spring Festival with Collegium 1704 Ensemble and they made together a CD in France with music of J. D. Zelenka. In 2008 she performed in Japan with Chamber Opera Prague; actually she is a guest in State Opera Prague.
