Jiří Hošek

Jiří Hošek was born in Prague in musical family. He started playing on the Cello when he was ten years old. He studied Celo on the Prague Conservatory and he continues his studies with Miloš Sádlo on the Musical Academy in Prague. He was awarded in many international competitions, he take part of Master Classes in Paris, Nice and Budapest. Between 1991 and 1996 he was the principal cellist of Symphonic Orchestra of the Czech Radio and from 1998 he is soloist of this orchestra.
