Josef Popelka

Josef Popelka studied at Academy of Music with prof. J. Reinberger and prof. J. Hora and then in Weimar (Germany) and Mechelen (Belgium). He is a laureate of organ competition of Prague Spring Festival 1979 and an assistant professor of organ at Academy of Music in Prague. He recorded a lot of excellent CD’s not only with the music of J. S. Bach, but also of other composers, especially of the contemporary Czech ones.
