Josef Škarka

Josef Škarka studied at conservatory in Brno and at the Music Faculty of AMU with Miloslav Podskalský. He cooperated for example with José Cura, director of “La rondine” at Nancy. Škarka sings not only opera, he found chamber duo with pianist Richard Pohl, where cooperate with living Czech and foreign composers. He performed with Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, Zlín Philharmonic Orchestra, Collegium 1704, The Czech Ensemble Baroque, Operatic Orchestra in Ústí nad Labem, Opera Diversa, or Vox Iuvenalis.
