Marie Sedláková

The soprano Marie Sedláková made successful solo debut in the Musical Theatre Karlín in Prague in 1991. Graduated of the Prague Conservatory in 1993 she continued her education with private teachers in the Czech Republic and Germany. She devotes herself to concert and opera performances and also to pedagogical activities. Her favourite composers are Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Richard Wagner and Josef Bohuslav Foerster. Besides of opera singing she is interested in sacred music. As a soloist or choir member she performs not only in the Czech Republic but also in European countries.
