Markéta Hejsková-Šmejkalová

Markéta Hejsková-Šmejkalová studied piano at the Prague Conservatory with Prof. Maxián and harpsichord with Prof. Přikryl, but after graduating she converted to the Organ, which she studied with Prof. Jan Hora both at the concervatory and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She is a laureate of the Opava organ competition and finalist of the Prague Spring competition. She took part at the master classes focused to the interpretation of the J. S. Bachʼs music, led by Prof. Koimann. Actually she works at the Prague Dance Conservatory and she gives organ concerts all over the Czechia.
