Markéta Fassati

Markéta Fassati (Mátlová) is a soprano who, in spite of her young age, has made an impression on listeners in almost every corner of the world. She graduated from the Music and Dance Faculty at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague where she studied with Prof. M. Hajóssyová. She continues to study under the tutelage of Prof. J. Protschka at the Hochschule für Musik Und Tanz in Cologne. She is a regular guest on concert and opera stages both in the Czech Republic (the National Theater, the Prague State Opera) and abroad (China, Japan, U.S.A., Germany, Italy, the Near East, Malta, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, France, England and others). She has worked with several conductors including H. Franke, Ch. Pouw, M. Němcová and others.
