Martin Vacula
Martin Vacula finished his studies of singing at the Institut of Art Studies at the University of Ostrava, under the leadership of Michael Kozelsky, in 2005. He continued his studies with the private tutor, baritone, Václav Zítek im the years 2003-2008. During his studies, he worked externally with the operatic choir of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (1998-2002). In the year 2003 he became a member of the operatic choir of the National Theatre in Prague and from 2007 to 2013 he sang in the Prague Filharmonic Choir. Last ten years he sings mostly early music and performs regularly with baroque ensembles Collegium 1704, Ensemble Inégal, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Hipocondria Ensemble, Collegium Marianum, Capella Mariana, Ensemble Damian and others. And he is also one of the founding members of the chamber choir MartinůVoices.
