Martina Sehylová
Soprano Martina Sehylová graduated from the Prague Conservatory in the class of prof. Jarmila Krásová. In 2009, she began her graduate studies at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica "G. Rossini" in Pesaro, Italy under the direction of Lucia Fiori. Sehylová graduated from the Conservatorio Statale di Musica in 2015 with a master's degree in opera singing. Her musical studies have been furthered with distinguished professors such as Roman Janál, So Hyun Lee, and Evghenia Dundekova, as well as at the Accademia Internazionale di canto with Mario Melani and Ala Simoni. Sehylová has actively participated in masterclasses under the leadership of Christopher Underwood and Ewa Izykowska in Italy. In July 2011, she won the duet singing competition Festival sotto le stelle at San Giovanni in Marignano and later performed the duet at Lago di Garda. In 2012, she performed at the first festival of Jarmila Novotná in Liteň and was accompanied by the music ensemble Musica Florea. Sehylová’s past collaborations include the Philharmonic Choir Coro Filarmonico di Pesaro and the Cathedral Choir San Terenzio. She has appeared in multiple concerts in Italy and the Czech Republic.
