Wacław Golonka
Polish organist Wacław Golonka studied organ on Cracow Music Academy and on Hochschule für Musik in Vienna with Hans Haselböck. He is price-holder of organ competitions in Prague and Nürnberk and he is winner of competition in Pretoria. He made concerts in many European and Asian countries, as well as in South Africa and USA, in important concert halls (Smetana Hall in Prague, Meistersingerhalle Nürnberg, Philharmonie Berlin, Nottingham Albert Hall, Cleveland Museum of Art, City Hall in Cape Town, UNISA in Pretoria) and in big churches and cathedrales (Wien, Chartres, Utrecht, Lausanne, Oliwa). He made 7 CD and lot of radio recordings. He is founder of Musica Antiqua Polonia ensemble, who is focused on Polish baroque music. He teaches organ in Musical University of Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw, in Cracow Music Academy and as guest in Gdańsk and Poznań.
