Yvona Škvárová

Yvona Škvárová is a soloist of the National Theatre in Prague. Between 1992 and 1999 she was a soloist of the Prague State Opera. She has been a guest performer at foreign stages in Regensburg, Cologne, in the Opera Ireland and in Solingen, in Hong Kong, in Tokyo, in Salzburg, in Teatro Real Madrid. She is a sought-after performer of oratorios and cantatas. She has been cooperating with principal Czech orchestras and has been performing at concerts at home as well as abroad. The Czech Actors' Association has awarded her with a Thálie Prize for 2004 for her interpretation of Marilyn Klinghoffer (Klinghoffer's Death by Adams).
